Bouquet Thinking and Garden Thinking

A bouquet is made in an afternoon; a garden can only be kept, week after week, through weather nobody consulted you about. Two modes of building products — the arranged moment and the living system — told through pruning, ambition, and the strip of land nobody wanted.

The Wrong Daffodil

Raters arrive with a mental image of what a good output should be — shaped by their perception of your product. When the actual output arrives, they measure it against that image, find it wanting, and flag it as failure. That is a calibration problem, not a quality problem.

Turning data into decisions, language into connection

I lead teams to build impactful products at Microsoft, where my current focus is a new generation of ads experiences powered by the latest AI models.

Before Microsoft, I led product across Search Ads, YouTube Ads, and Cloud at Google. Earlier, I helped shape Adobe's Experience Cloud. I hold an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BA in Economics & Psychology from Williams College, where I studied on a full scholarship and graduated on the Dean's List.

My career sits at the intersection of markets, technology, and human behavior — a space I've explored and landed impact in for over a decade.

Off-screen, you'll find me cultivating my garden or wandering through San Francisco bay area botanical gardens — listening to an audiobook, thinking about AGI, and how the best products, like the best gardens, take patient, iterative care.

"Enterprise software should be made for people. This sounds obvious — but often it's not."
